The player selects a scenario, difficulty level, and a character. When asked if the source files had been re-rendered, the account responded that the textures at least look to have been updated. However, as Project Umbrella RE:Digest on Twitter noted, the assets for Resident Evil Outbreak appear to have been changed significantly. The former seems to have received upscaled artwork and a new description. Alex Aniel on Twitter noticed that certain titles like Resident Evil: Code Veronica and Resident Evil Outbreak had seen some changes on the official History page.
Capcom’s big countdown announcement may have come and gone, revealing Street Fighter 6 as its next big game, but it could have other things in the works.
